House and Senate Education Committees 2012 Session

Bills will be introduced in both the House and Senate Education Committees. They do make an effort to coordinate their activities, so we follow bills in both Committees. Bills are given a number in committee, however bills can also be developed and discussed without having a number.

Follow this link for a weekly schedule of what the committees are doing. This schedule is updated daily, sometimes multiple times if changes occur. The general public is always welcome to OBSERVE committee proceedings. Upon your arrival at the State House, ask the Sergeant-at-Arms to direct you to the committee room. Quietly enter (no need to knock - this is a public meeting) and take a seat, quietly leave whenever you need to.
